We know that William Shakespeare was well-versed in Astrology during Elizabethan England in the early 1600s, which can be seen in his most popular works.
I believe that the true identity of the William Shakespeare was Francis Bacon, who was the Lord Chancellor of England between March, 7th, 1617 – May 3rd, 1621, and was also known as Francis, Lord Verulam.
Bacon also edited the King James Version of the Bible, commissioned by King James I. Also, while most sources say that the Book of Revelation was written John of Patmos, I believe that Francis Bacon wrote Revelation based on the tone, Gematria (with the accuracy verse-for-verse), and context of the Bible within the expertise that only Francis Bacon, who also wrote Shakespeare’s complete works, was capable of doing so.
Why would John of Patmos be related to Bacon?
Patmos in its original translation means ‘Serpentine’ and also peten פתן in Hebrew, which is the basis of the word, Serpent. Serpent’s conjugates are Ser (Sur), which means ‘winding,’ (like the Big Sur in Northern California), and and pent, which is an anagram of peten.
William Shakespeare means, ‘the will of the spear,’ and the spear is a phallic object, much like a serpent, and can be translated to ‘the will of Satan.’
Francis Bacon’s teacher was John Dee, master cryptographer, Elizabethan pirate of the Royal Navy, occultist, 007, and Chief of Intelligence. Maybe even a lover of Elizabeth, but shares the name ‘John’ which is everywhere in Elizabethan literature.
Bacon believed that knowledge should be based on inductive reasoning, which is based on careful observation, rather than deductive reasoning (which is unfortunately how most men operate).
I wish to introduce the point that Angels were believed to operate on intuition, which is involved in the process of inductive reasoning, quoting The Elizabethan World Picture, by E.M.W. Tillyard
“Man’s understanding, while allied to the [angelic spheres], operates differently than [angels]. The angels operate intuitively, while man by the painful use of [deductive] reasoning.
Again, the angels have perfected their understanding and are replete with all the knowledge they are able to hold. Man, even though at the end may rival Angels in knowledge, begins in ignorance.
What marks man from angel and beast is his capacity for learning. [Man’s drive for perfection through knowledge, his inclination for education and the higher arts, and the skillful use his highest faculties] represent his potential for perfection.”
What is interesting is females operate more on intuition, which means women are closer to Angels, while men know things by learning individual facts, picking up the facts and assemble them together (not the best way of knowing) rather than naturally using inductive reasoning, which is like an assessment of the probability of things and seeing a picture in a whole – like what Libra and Libra Ascendants are able to do, they paint a complete picture which conveys emotion.

Now, taking Bacon’s work, as William Shakespeare, poet, and playwright,
We can see the most powerful references to Astrology in Othello, King Lear, Macbeth, and Hamlet, but we can also see them in Two Noble Kinsmen, where Arcite prays to Mars, and in Twelfth Night:

I did think, by the excellent constitution of thy leg; it was formed under the star of a galliard [meaning party].
SIR ANDREW
Ay, ‘tis strong, and it does indifferent well in a flame-coloured stock. Shall we set about some revels?

What shall we do else? Were we not born under Taurus?
SIR ANDREW
Taurus! That’s [the] sides and heart.
TOBY
No, sir; it is legs and thighs. Let me see the caper [a leap where feet are kicked together in the ear]; ha! higher: ha, ha! excellent!
Obviously,
Andrew is mistaking Leo for Taurus, and Sir Toby is wrong in is assessment that Taurus represents the legs and the thighs (it is Sagittarius), but as you can see through the works published under William Shakespeare, the use of Astrology was very prominent in Elizabethan England in the highest circles, and employed by those of John Dee and Francis Bacon (who was counsel to Queen Elizabeth).
What’s interesting about the constellation Taurus, while Great Britian’s coat of Arms has the Lion and the Unicorn, which is Leo and Capricorn – the constellation, Leo is observable in the maximum in the world in England for 6 months, and the constellation, Capricorn, is visible only in South Africa for 6 months – meaning that the Sun never sets in the British Empire, the true constellation representing England is Taurus, which means high achievement in matters of the state, loyalty, steadfastness, and achievement with artistic flair in high patronage of the arts.

We see that banking, related to Taurus, (which is ironically more related to Scorpio, 8th house in Astrology) is very prominent in England.
Taurus is one of the strongest Zodiac signs, along with Scorpio, its opposite, (which is related to ‘John,’ by the way).
Ultimately, with the Scorpio force (that reveals that which is hidden), Bacon went further in the publication of Revelation, the final book in the Bible, by going into the Angelic Hierarchy in detail, and believed that if Astrology (or the study of Angels) was based on observational data (Quoting Bacon, “the real effects of the celestial bodies upon the terrestrial”), then it would be widely accepted by individuals – his Aquarian belief in inductive reasoning resonates with my True Astrology™ method.
