What do the various Astrological archetypes represent?
First of all, let’s go over what the signs mean relative to our psychology. Our Sun sign represents our persona and the outwards personality, which can be termed as the mediator between our superconscious and subconscious drives.
When we look at someone’s Sun sign, for the vast majority of people, it relates to their careers and their specific role within that career.
So for example, if someone is a mechanical engineer that works with quality control which is known as Six Sigma, they will most likely be a Gemini. If they work in engineering but uses tools, they are most likely a Virgo.
If you meet an emergency room doctor, emergency room nurse, or a judge, they may be a Sagittarius, as Sagittarius rules healing and the law (as justice).
If they are a police officer or security guard, there is a good chance that they are a Scorpio.
So you’ll see someone’s Sun sign actually manifest in their career choices.
Our Moon sign is our shadow, which can be called the unconscious, or subconscious. Our Moon sign is our hidden ‘drive’ which is more powerful than the Sun sign, but it is not manifest clearly in an individual and is hidden.
Your Moon sign cannot be known by anyone except by someone who knows you very well like a best friend or a spouse, but they won’t know exactly which Moon sign you are; they’ll know your tendencies.
In Tarot, the Moon Card is on the bottom of the Cube of Space, on the right edge of the Cube below the Sun Card (in the picture). As you can see the, the Star Card, which is the Aquarius archetype, represents ‘awakening’ as the highest aspect of consciousness relative to the regenerative intelligence, as the Sun represents death and rebirth on our planet, hence called ‘regenerative.’
Star Card on top, Sun in the middle, and Moon on the bottom. Not everyone has the Star Card, their most awake state, online, so it’s Ok if they are operating on the conscious (ego) and subconscious level. Awakenening is a process so it’s Ok if you don’t become completely aware of yourself and the external environment on the first or second day.
The Star Card in Tarot, Key 17, relates to Astrology and using it to better understand ourselves in transpersonal psychology and also in psychological space.
Aquarius (which is the Star Card), the superconscious component of your ego, is a really powerful sign because it relates to how you will help other people in the humanitarian sense beyond that of your drive or career.
So we covered the consciousness and subconsciousness, and an aspect of superconscious (the Star Card), but what about the superconscious?
Your Mercury is your superconciousness. So if you have a Sun in Taurus, Moon in Virgo, and Mercury in Aries, your thinking will be extremely quick and you will think like a supercomputer.
If your Mercury is in Capricorn, then you will operate on cosmic order in your writings. Not only you will have extreme attention to detail (Virgo), but it will exhibit great teaching ability (Sagittarius), depth (Scorpio), and analysis (Libra), since Capricorn is the sum of all the Zodiac signs before it.
A best way to think of Mercury in Capricorn individuals is that they are very structured thinkers, and rather like a Libra, they can think in hyperoutlines and hypertext, rather than a simple outline.
Moon in Capricorn is a little different in that they place long-term success as their goal, so if they are a Sun in Taurus, and Moon in Capricorn, they are very successful in their home and with their children. While Cancer does rule the home, Taurus rules security and the home is the most secure place for most individuals.
While Jungian analysis in the Meyer-Briggs only has 16 personalities, and the enneagram has about 9 x 9 which is 81 personalities, Astrology has distinctly 186 different personalities and that’s just the Sun, Moon, and Mercury signs which I go over in your Astrological readings!
Actually I add Venus in there too for your reading, so that would be 186 x 12 so there are exactly 2,232 different personality types!

You’ll never meet the same person but you’ll always meet similar persons in your life that you can know them based on their Sun Sign and it’s like meeting someone that you’ve always known in terms of their basic personality.
